Mateusz Skutnik (also named Matt) is the artist and programmer of the Covert Front Series, as well as many other notable series of games, including the Submachine, DayMare Town and has several comic book series on his name such as Blaki and Rewolucje.

History of developing Covert Front[]

The four Chapters[]

Back when Covert Front 1 was made, the idea of the series was that it had to be simpler due to a request by Arcade Town. Matt drew the series but the story is written by Karol Konwerski. After the initial succes of the first chapter, work on the second began soon there after resulting in the first two chapters both being made in 2007. Covert Front 3 was released in the summer of 2009 and after 3 years the final chapter Covert Front 4 was released after a short delay due to Arcade Town's reluctance to sponsor it.

A fifth chapter?[]

There have been talks about a fifth chapter but Karol Konwerski didn't extend the storyline and thus the series wasn't expanded.

Game maker port[]

Although initially Mateusz said he wanted to port Covert Front to game maker, he has no plans of doing so at the moment.

PNCE[]

Mateusz made a small game called the Peter Navarre Crecy Evaluation, it has a appearance of Kara. Matt said himself that the game is canon to the Covert Front series while Karol Konwerski didn't write it.

Trivia[]

  • Ute Simon and Mateusz Skutnik never had direct contact for the 5 years time frame the games where made in.
